- This episode was okay…I listened right on the tails of the episode she did with Brené Brown on the Unlocking Us podcast and it was equally okay
- Glennon is a little basic for my taste and it’s not because of her content, like she talks about very important things and things that she knows well (as a woman, an ex-addict, a once-married-to-a-man, an activist etc.). I hate using the word basic because that implies I am “holier than thou” which I am not claiming but aghhh idk if it was just her voice or they way she delivered ideas but this episode didn’t hit as hard at it could have for me personally
- I did absolutely FREAK OUT when I realized the Abby she was talking about from minute 1 of the podcast was Abby fucking WAMBACH!!! Her wife!!! Amazing!
- Still unsure if I want to read Untamed…I was hoping this episode would convince me but it didn’t really. I fear Untamed will be basic and a little one-note for me, but I still think I could get something out of it so I might read soon. Who knows
- Also worth mentioning Kristen Bell was here for this episode and it was nice to have her perspective added. I love hearing her thoughts and questions
